Tables have quantity or item row headings and labeled column headings. On small screens, focus a table and use the arrow keys or swipe to scroll horizontally. “Not listed” means that the PDF does not give a price for that combination; it does not mean free.

Turnaround times and rush order fees

Turnaround times for apparel decorating vary greatly based on a variety of factors. Factors that contribute to turnaround times include print method(s), garment type(s), number of print locations, size of the design(s)/stitch counts, order quantity, location the blank garments are sourced from, artwork quality, weather, holidays, etc. Average standard turnaround times are 5–7 business days. Some orders will be done quicker, others will take longer.

For example, screen printing 12 white t-shirts we have in stock with black ink is much faster than ordering 200 hoodies from California that get a DTF design on the front chest, an embroidered sleeve, and individual name and numbers on the backs. Similarly, 20 hats you supply that have a 2,500 stitch count design are much faster to complete than 100 hats coming from Texas that need 15,000 stitches on the front and 3,000 stitches on the back.

Having print-ready artwork helps speed up the process. If you have a hard deadline, please reach out to us with the specific order details before submitting the order. We cannot accept all orders or meet all deadlines. Timing is based on either: 1. Date the order is paid (if ordering garments from us); or 2. Date the blanks are received (if garments are customer-supplied). If we can accept the order, the following rush fees apply to orders needed within 5 business days.

Rush order fees apply to products and primary decorating costs, but not art, digitizing or add-on fees. Days refer to our business days, not calendar days.

There is a $20 minimum order for all products/services. See wholesale/reseller account eligibility.

Blank garment information and pricing

If you supply your own garment(s), we are not responsible for them. If an error (human/mechanical/other) is made on our end we will not reimburse you for garments not supplied by us, but we may reprint a garment you resupply us. The policies you sign when setting up an account cover this in more detail.

All bags and labels should be removed ($0.35 fee per tag/sticker/bag requiring removal). We may require an extra garment for testing purposes. We do not inspect outside garments for defects prior to decorating like we do with our shirts. Garments should be brand new (not washed or worn, and free from stains). For decorating errors: if you buy a product or service from us, we cover it; if you do not purchase from us, we do not cover it.

Blank apparel catalogs can be found on our website. Contact us for a quote with the style, color and size needed.

Artwork proofs and mockups

Artwork proofs are print-ready images of the design/artwork. Mockups are images of the design(s) simulated on products.

• If you have us create the artwork, we will send a copy of the print-ready file for your approval before production begins.
• If we digitize a design for embroidery, we will send you a photograph of an actual sewout for approval before production begins.
• Colors you see on your screen are not exactly the same as the actual results.
• If you supply print-ready artwork, there is not anything for us to send that is more realistic than what you sent us.
• A mockup is included with your quote. Treat it as a rough guide only. It will not be accurate to color, size or placement on most items. Shirt sizes vary greatly; the shirt size used in a mockup is unknown. A 4-inch-wide design looks different on a youth small and an adult 5XL. Print your logo at different sizes, cut it out, and place it on clothing sized similarly to the order to judge the result.
• Mockups for hard-good promotional products are more realistic. Pens, cups and tumblers do not vary by size; a mockup is a fairly accurate, though not perfect, representation.
• We recommend printing your design at its actual size, cutting it out, and laying it on top of various shirt sizes.
• Exact, life-like proofs require ordering a sample at the 1-piece price.

How quantity discounts apply

All pricing listed is per identical file, print method, color, design size, etc. Changing any one of these options resets the quantity discounts. Ten one-offs is not the same as ten identical prints. Review our services and artwork setup guides.

Payment and current pricing

Orders require 100% prepayment, unless garments are customer supplied. If garments are customer-supplied, up to 50% down may be required to start. The balance is due at pickup. We accept credit and debit. We do not offer terms. Pricing is subject to change at any time. Visit Price Lists for current pricing.

Embroidery

Prices below are per identical embroidery, by stitch count and quantity.

Digitizing and embroidery add-ons

Designs over 78,000 stitches will be quoted on a case-by-case basis. We require .pxf or .dst files for embroidery. Poorly digitized provided files are subject to surcharges. We can digitize files if you cannot provide one.

• Basic digitizing is $50 for up to 15,000 stitches, and $1.50 per 1,000 stitches for designs over 15,000 stitches.
• Advanced digitizing is $12 per 1,000 stitches ($50 minimum). A sewout is included when we digitize your file.
• Metallic thread: add $0.25 per 1,000 stitches.
• Patches: add $3.25 per patch if 16 square inches or less. Patches greater than 16 square inches must be custom-quoted. Add $3.25 per patch to apply to a garment.
• Puff: add $4.50 per area.
• Water-soluble stabilizer (microfleece, towels, beanies, blankets, etc.): add $0.75 per embroidered area.
• Caps: add $1.50 per cap.
• Difficult-to-hoop garments (wrists of long-sleeve shirts, pant legs, odd locations with interfering tags, pockets or zippers, etc.): add $1.50 per area.

Sublimation transfers and rhinestones

Above pricing is for transfer sheets only. Add $7 per print area to apply transfers to products.

Rhinestones

Rhinestone transfers are priced on a case-by-case basis (stone counts, color and sizes of the stones/studs used, quantity, etc.).

Back to service index

Promotional products are priced case by case through SAGE. The PDF specifies adding 4% to costs to cover credit-card charges.

Sign vinyl, banners, posters and stickers

Print and cut on Roland True-Vis V2G-540 with TR2 CMYKLcLmLkOr inks. See our services and product guides. We do not install any graphics.

Vinyl banners: gloss or matte

9 × 9 scrim, 1,000 denier, 13 oz matte banner; tear and fade resistant; hemmed and grommeted. Grommet counts are in parentheses. An asterisk identifies a popular size.

For other sizes or bulk orders of 3 or more, email your design and quantity for a custom quote.

Posters

8.5 mil matte poster paper. An asterisk identifies a popular size. Artwork requires 1/8-inch bleed or crop marks. For all other sizes, email your design for a custom quote.

The PDF highlights quantity 4 for the first four poster sizes. Order those sizes in multiples of 4 for the best rates. For 16 × 20-inch posters, quantity 3 is highlighted: order in multiples of 3. For sizes 18 × 24 inches through 36 × 48 inches, quantity 2 is highlighted: order in multiples of 2.

Stickers

A $12 setup fee applies if the file does not have a properly set up bleed and/or cutline. See the website for details.

Decals/stickers: Orafol 3641 (3 mil, economy-grade gloss film, grey adhesive, permanent) and Orajet Clear (3 mil, transparent gloss film, clear water-based removable adhesive, 4-year durability). Both are for simple shapes only: squares, rectangles, circles and ovals.

Pop-up banners and other media

Pop-up banner with stand: 10 mil non-curling white semi-gloss synthetic polyester, grey opaque back, 33 × 78 inches: $170.00.

Direct-to-film (DTF) transfers

Prices below are per transfer. Application charges are additional.

Add $4.00 per print area to apply transfers to flat areas (front and back of flat shirts). Add $5.00 per print area to apply transfers to non-flat areas (sleeves, pockets, hats, onesies, etc.).

You may see a heat press box on completed shirts. This washes out. If your design has transparencies, we run it through special RIP software that converts transparent areas to halftones, a dot-pattern effect similar to screen printing. This fades out the design in transparent areas; without this, the print will not come out well. DTF transfers bond to most fabrics; some fabrics, such as polyester fleece, do not work as well with heat presses as others.

For a 16 × 20-inch heat press, the maximum recommended print size is 14 × 18 inches (252 square inches). The PDF greys out sizes above that limit.

DTF gang sheets: $12 per linear foot (33 inches wide).

Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing and artwork charges

Artwork charges

All pricing is based on print-ready artwork. An artwork charge applies if we have to create, improve, resize or recolor your art. Artwork charges are $90/hour ($10.00 minimum). Viewing/responding to non-print-ready art is subject to a $5.00 charge per image. Our website has file-type guides for each decorating method.

Review our website before submitting orders requiring DTG printing. While many files that open in Photoshop can be printed, the guidelines, file setups and limitations on our website are necessary for optimal results and proper pricing. All DTG pricing is per location and includes pretreatment.

Epson DTG surcharges

• Long-sleeve pallet (4 × 18 inches): add $5.50 per print.
• Short-sleeve print: add $3 per print.
• Wrap-around pallet: add $2 per print.
• Zip-up hoodie pallet: add $2 per print.
• Garment that does not lay flat on a pallet: add $3 per print.
• Additional pretreat on shirts with fabric weight greater than 6 oz/yd: add $2.50 per area.
• Precision placement, such as on or above a pocket where exact location matters: add $3.00 per print area.

Notes about Epson F3070 DTG printing

• Recommended only for select 100% combed-cotton ringspun shirts in select colors. Our picks: black and white G640/G640B.
• For the most accurate color, design in RGB at 300 dpi in the size you want printed, and export as PNG. Our RIP software is color-profiled but will not perfectly match PANTONE colors. CMYK and PMS files will be less color accurate than RGB.
• On black shirts, we may remove black from the design so it looks like it comes out of the shirt. This only works with RGB files whose black is (0/0/0). Other black codes are dark grey and are not removed.
• You may see a heat press box on completed shirts. This washes out.
• Transparencies are converted to halftones through RIP software to fade out the design in transparent areas, similar to screen printing. Without this processing, the print will not come out well.

UV-printed signs

Full color plus white ink. Prices below are per sign.

Back to service index

Screen printing

Pricing includes screen and film charges. When printing light colors on colored garments, add an additional color for a base white. Seven colors are only possible on white shirts.

When to consider DTG or DTF

The PDF uses yellow cells to recommend considering DTG or DTF, depending on design size and fabric. Those recommendations are listed below so color is not needed to understand them.

For the highest quality, we flash between each printed color to prevent bleeding/spidering between colors. Due to press size and flash count, we can print only 2–3 colors per rotation. Jobs with more than 3 colors take 2 or 3 rotations (2X–3X as long), which is why the cost jumps more between 3 and 4 colors and between 5 and 6 colors.

Additional screen-printing fees

• Color change: add $20 per color change.
• Long sleeve or pant leg print: add $1.00 per print.
• Fleece: add $0.45 per item.
• Puff or nylon: add $0.75 per item.
• PMS color matching: add $28 per color.
• Digital black underbase: add $0.80 per print.
• Orders under 12 pieces: add $35 per color.

Screen-printing ink colors, pallets and mockups

Color names and Pantone references below reproduce the PDF’s ink chart. Some inks have no Pantone number listed. Screen colors and physical ink colors can differ; the names and references provide a text alternative to the swatches.

Mockups are not accurate because shirt sizes vary. The PDF illustration shows the same 8.5 × 11-inch design on a mockup of unknown shirt size and on youth S, adult M and adult 5XL shirts. The design takes up a different proportion of each garment even though its printed dimensions stay the same.
